"It's my 15th birthday on Saturday. After then I can do what I want because I'll be a man. He can't ground me when I'm fifteen."
Liverpool, 1989. Greg is fourteen. He hates school. Girls are weird. Liverpool FC are everything.
Bottleneck is a coming-of-age story through the eyes of a young boy in Liverpool. Greg kills time playing footie with Tom, rowing with Dad and running away from the bizzies, all while waiting for the next big LFC game - but one day everything changes.
Life will never be the same again, for Greg or for the city.
