Home is Where the Royal Court is

Only at the Court could you put on a show entirely about Norris Green.
Our Community Education team are bringing the stories of one of Liverpool’s oldest neighbourhoods to the stage as part of Community Education Week between the 13 - 18 August.
The play takes you from 1938 to the present day. As you can imagine, things were a bit different back then. The communities in Liverpool took a hit when the war started but it never broke their spirit.
Our lives may be different but family remains at the heart.
Home is a drama about community, family and life in Norris Green. It’s brought to you by The People’s Players, an amateur dramatics group established by Liverpool’s Royal Court.
It’s on 16 and 17 August. The show is completely sold out but you can still join our drama group.
The show is part of our Community Education Week, showcasing the hard work of our Community Education team. The week kicked off with a show from our Community Choir in a Through The Decades performance to celebrate our 80th birthday!
If you are interested in joining The People’s Players contact Paula Currie firstname.lastname@example.org. There are no fees, no auditions and no waiting list.
