The People's Players
Welcoming people of all ages to act, dance and sing.
What skills are we looking for? Nothing, just your enthusiasm. It's okay if you have no previous experience. Just come along and try it out.
We meet every Monday evening, 7 - 8:30pm in the Downstairs studio at the Royal Court. Sessions are free to attend and we cover basic acting skills including; character development, improvisation and physical theatre.
So far, our members have performed a short play called ‘A Different Me’ during a training session with dementia friends at Liverpool’s Royal Court.
Last year, we staged a play called 'Home' in the Studio at the Royal Court which completely sold out across the run. You can read all about it here.
Our group is looking forward to the next performance in April. More details will be released in due course.
If you would like to join The People's Players, just email our Community Education Manager Paula at firstname.lastname@example.org.
